Original era manufacture. 28 inch polished steel blade now displaying a cleaned finish and old corrosion pitting. Proofed on the blade crown 13 B (Birmingham)and the name HARVEY (Wm Harvey, Birmingham 1816-1897 Sword Cutler) on the spine. Heavy brass gip and guard which is marked D III 1852 on the outside of the guard.
