Original era manufacture. A clean example with two brass rivets and washers securing the grips in place, oil hole behind the rearmost rivet. The blade is clean, showing clouding and staining from age but no corrosion pitting. There are a number of issue dates on the ricasso, the oldest being 5'91, and most recent, '05 Sound original leather bodied, steel mounted scabbard.
