Original era manufacture. 31 inch polished steel quill back blade without any markings. The blade is straight, little pitting however the tip appears to have been dressed a bit as the bottom edge is a bit uneven. Gilded brass guard which does not fold on one side, William IV cypher (1830-1837)on the basket. Leather wrapped grip which is bound with single strand twisted wire. Steel scabbard with two carrying rings, pretty much dent-free and without pitting. Nice and clean old sword.
