Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade which measures nearly 22 inches in length, with a 17.9 mm socket opening. The blade is bright, with scattered staining and light pitting, with no nicks along its edges. Clear markings and date on the ricasso of 12-83.  Blue finish to the socket and locking ring, showing scattered patches of surface corrosion. Brass trimmed, leather bodied scabbard in good condition, showing typical sections of open stitching along it's length.
