Original era manufacture. Silver medal with two bars, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. Named on the edge to one 6609 Pte B. McCabe, RL HIGHRS.. Good detail on the surfaces with a matt silver finish. Very clear markings on the edge. I checked the medal rolls and he appears with this medal in 1903 at Umballa, as being posted home for demobilization.
