Original period manufacture. Brown leather bandoleer with loops for 50 rifle cartridges, with 6 leather covers stitched to the top of the bandoleer. The tip of the adjusting belt is maker marked and dated 1901.Overall the bandoleer is quite sound, the leather is pliable with no dry rot visible. three of the securing straps which hold the covers in place are missing.
