Original era manufacture. Brown leather pommel bags which are unit marked on the central portion, Y.I.Y, which I believe stands for Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry. A unit raised around 1900-02 for service during the Boer War.Brown leather construction with two brass securing studs on each bag. No issues to report beyond one of the flap covers has some seam stitching opening up from being pressed on over the years. The leather is sound and pliable otherwise.
