Item #69568 : Original period manufacture. A charming image of a Crimean War era Royal Navy father and his little son in a sailor uniform. The father is wearing two medals, perhaps the Baltic and Crimea Service medal. The image is darkened but remains quite clear, and still rests in its original thermoplastic case with brass hinges. Behind the image are period advertising for a photographer on Tyne St in North Shields. No damage to the case, the image measures 2x2.5 inches.
