Original period manufacture. A clean set of original medals recently purchased by during an online auction.Both medals have been renamed to one T.Stephenson, 2nd D (Dragoons), and are quite clean looking. The British issue Turkish medal has a Mutiny style suspension bar. Both sport older replacement ribbons.The joke is on me with this pair, as I bid on them without reading the description, thinking to myself; "these are going very reasonable", those things happen when up early in the morning to bid and catching a case of auction fever. Offered at slightly less than I paid for them...a good lesson learned. They remain original medals from the era, just renamed, perhaps for a veteran or display..who knows why.
