Original period manufacture. We would date this to the late 1950's, early 60's. Very fine quality dark blue wool top with a red wool band with a well made bullion insignia at front. Black patent leather chinstrap and visor, with gold wire decoration to the front edge of the visor. Wide leather sweatband with a complete lining and plastic perspiration shield, Hawkes & Co. Ltd. 1, Savile Row W. Size about a 7, no moth issues.
