Original era manufacture. A very clean example named on the edge with impressed naming, Geo.Harnold. 97th Regt. with what appears to be an original ribbon.Doing some online research via Find My Past, and Ancestry, I find a William Harnold in the 97thon the Ancestry medal rolls, but not a George. FMP does show a George Harnold as serving with the 97th in India with clasp, and, a listing for William Harnold as well.
