Original era manufacture. Silver medal with two bars, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. Named on the edge to one 759 Pte J.Thorpe North'D.Fus. My initial research shows that this well respected regiment had a pretty tough time of it during the 1902 campaign. I recently did a little digging on759 Pte.J.Thorpe and found a listing for his Queens South Africa medal in Ancestry.com, he was credited with three bars, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal.
