Original era manufacture. Handsome old bayonet with a brass pommel and guard with pressed leather grips. Full length, pipe-backed steel blade which measures just over 23 inches in length. Numerous issue stamps on the ricasso, Kirschbaum single helmet logo, 1862-1883. Nice bayonet, no scabbard.
