British Late 19th/Early 20th Century Fore & Aft Hat

Original era manufacture. A fine quality shaved fur Fore & Aft hat by Hamburger, Rogers & Co. of London. Gold wire knots on each end and a gold wire band on a black silk rossette ont the side of the hat. Maroon silk lining with gilt makers logo and the owners initials NTN. The hat is about a size 7 and shows light wear for its age. It comes complete with a period metal storage box shaped in the form of the hat.
