Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade with numerous markings on its ricasso, the earliest being 6' 91 indicating production in June of 1891. The blade is very clean, unsharpened with a proper pointed tip.'Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wooden grips which are secured with two flush-ground brass rivets.Maroon colored leather bodied scabbard in very sound condition, with a blue finished steel throat and chape. The scabbard fits the blade properly but appears to be of later production.
