Original era manufacture. A clean example with a dermatite pistol grip and a large all steel basket guard. The polished steel blade measures 35 inches in length, with numerous and assorted markings to be seen on both sides of the ricasso. The all steel scabbard shows some minor denting, and again, numerous markings to include what we feel to be a unit designation, C L S H. Light scattered surface corrosion, but no major pitting or other damage. Missing one of the scabbard throat screws. Normal age and wear.
