Original era manufacture. A wonderful trio of medals, purchased four years ago at the Pomona Militaria Show. The gentleman from whom I purchased the set is a man Ive known from the old Great Western days. He stated that he found the trio at a local flea market, all sleeping peacefully in this Boer War chocolate box; certainly a nice find for him that day.All of the medals are named to a 4087 Pte J.BIDWELL 7th Hussars. After a bit of poking around on Ancestry.Com I found Private Bidwell, with his entitlement confirmed to these three medals and clasps. Interestingly, it was noted that he served on the Staff of a General Babington, a Cavalry officer of some reputation. Just a beautiful old set of medals, as found.
