Original era manufacture. Commercially produced bowie style utility knife with a 6.25 inch polished steel blade. The blade exhibits considerable wear to its surface with only fragments of the makers logo remaining on the surface. No corrosion pitting though, and no nicks in the cutting edge.Simple oval shaped alloy guard, with imitation stag, black composition grips, minor surface rust on the tang.Handmade, frontier style leather scabbard which is decorated with brass rivets.
