Original period manufacture. A very complicated garment of amazing quality and great attention to detail. Scarlet wool body, with a red cotton body lining and striped white cotton sleeve lining. Real lambs wool collar and cuff trim, with ornate gold wire decoration on the front, sleeves and rear of the jacket. 17 brass bullet style buttons, or use the 11 hooks and eyes to close up the front. Costume house label stitched into the lining. No moth issues, size about a 36.
