Original era manufacture. All steel construction bayonet & scabbard with a cruciform blade configuration, marked G.CROWN.R. & SM on the shank. The socket, or shank, has been cleaned, leaving a steel patina finish, likewise with the blade.Tubular steel scabbard with a blue finish, flat top scabbard opening which is also marked No.4 Mk1.
