Original era manufacture. A very sound example with a steel patina finish to the 22 inch blade, with no corrosion issues, just some very light graying in spots, and Egyptian markings at the base of the blade and scabbard throat.Faded blue finish to the socket with an intact locking ring, there is an 8 mm slot cut into the base of the socket to pass over a taller front sight. Sound black leather scabbard mounted with brass rivets, throat and tip, stitching is basically sound with a few spots where the seam has opened up, and then repaired.Comes with a nice white buff leather original frog.
