Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade which measures 21.5 inches in length. The blade was issued bright, now displaying scattered staining along its length with a small section of pitting near the point. Clear markings and date on the ricasso of 2-00. Dark steel patina finish to the socket and locking ring, showing scattered patches of surface corrosion. Brass trimmed, leather bodied scabbard in good condition, showing typical sections of open stitching near the throat.
