Original era manufacture. A very sound example with a clean blade showing some scattered spotting and staining. Sound broass mounted leather scabbard with good stitiching. The blade is 22 inches in length and is dated 10'99. Last of the socket bayonets for the Royal Army (unless of course we count the spike bayonets from WWII).
