Original era manufacture. Kiesling's identifies this as Sword Bayonet, Martini-Henry, Pattern 1887 MkII, adopted in 1889 and differs from the previous model with an unfullered blade. Very well marked, clean 18.5 inch polished steel blade with leather grips and sound original scabbard.
