British Pattern 1879 Artillery Bayonet

Original era manufacture. Handsome old bayonet with a sword length blade with a partial sawback edge to it's spine. Polished steel blade measures 26 inches in length, is quite clean with no issues and a issue date of 12/85 on it's ricasso. Pressed leather grips showing wear from use but no damage, unit markings on the steel pommel, B.3.S.M.. Brass mounted leather bodied scabbard in sound condition, the upper fitting staple is missing but is not loose.
