Original era manufacture. A handsome old bayonet with a 18.5 inch polished steel blade, with very clear markings on the ricasso. The blade is very clean, is unsharpened, with just some very light spotting and staining, and old cosmoline grease.Bright steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, pressed leather grips secured with two steel rivets. Sound black leather bodied scabbard with brass throat and chape.
