Original era manufacture. Clean, 1st pattern bayonet with the earliest date stamp on the blade being 10'93, the last, '03. The blade is clean, no corrosion issues with a steel patina surface. Sound original finish grips secured with two brass rivets, even  steel patina finish to guard and pommel. An intelligently applied bath would greatly improve this bayonet
