Original era manufacture. An interesting bayonet, featuring an 1888 pattern blade, with the newly introduced 1903 pattern hilt. Numerous markings on both sides of the ricasso. The blade is clean, the point very slightly rounded, with the surface being quite clean, no real corrosion issues. Dark wood grips, exhibiting normal age and wear. Dark blue finish to the guard and pommel, 1903 date, with the latest added date being '09. Clean bayonet.
