Original era manufacture. British four pocket, open collar wool tunic. Identified inside to  Major H.F. Somerville DSO. Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry buttons throughout, with a five place, hand stitched ribbon bar above the left upper pocket. Stitched to the lining of the coat is a cloth tag displaying his name and unit, with a costume house name written in a sleeve. One of the small pocket buttons is missing, another needs to be resewn. Two old seam repairs to the back of the coat, with no real moth issues to report. Comes with a printed page of details of his service life beginning in 1900. Size about a 38.
