Original era manufacture. We haven't had too many examples of this scarce bayonet in our hands over the years, in fact, perhaps only the second example. Wilkinson marked ricasso with a date of 7-'09 above with a large crown and 1907 date. Nice blue finished blade with a few shallow nicks in it's cutting edge. Mix of blue and steel patina finish on the guard and pommel with an operable lock button. Sound wooden grips showing typical marring and denting from use. Black leather bodied scabbard with a WWI pattern khaki canvas frog.
