Original era manufacture. Well made, cut-down bayonet with original British proofs remaining on the ricasso. Measures 14 inches overall with a 9.5 inch, clipped point style blade. The pommel locking mechanism is intact and operable, so can still be used as a bayonet. Sound wooden grips with brass rivets.The blade surface, guard and pommel display evidence of old cleaned corrosion, however the markings are still visible.
