Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool waist length jacket with red cuffs and collar, the front being secured with hidden hooks & eyes with 63 silver bullet buttons. Thin silver wire braided straps on each shoulder. Red silk quilted lining with a red Moroccan leather waistband, black silk lined collar in very worn condition. The exterior of the jacket is quite clean, with some light mothing visible on the right cuff, with some larger mothing seen on the left cuff. However being of dark wool the moth damage is not too distracting.Accompanying the jacket at the time of our purchase, is this pair of matching material riding breeches with red stripes down the outside of each leg. The inside of the knees have black leather reinforcement, and in the waistband buttons for suspenders, and the original owners nametag.
