Original period manufacture. A very striking set for display is this issue tunic and trousers as worn by a member of one of Britains premier Infantry regiments, the Coldstream Guards. Madder red wool tunic with all buttons present for duty, issue tag on the inside dated 1938. Original sewn Corporal chevrons on the right sleeve. Dark blue issue trousers with red wool piping down the outside of each leg. Issue tag sewn on the outside ofthe left hip is also dated 1938. Regulation enlisted visor hat is from a later era and is dated1966,all components are very clean with no moth issues.
