Original period manufacture. Full size silver medal presented by the Khedive to troops participating in the actions to reconquer the Dongola Province in the Sudan. These medals were presented by the Khediviate of Egypt, with the soldiers name appearing on the edge.In this instance, it is named to 2345, Bdn. Munro, 1 Cam Highlanders. The medal has a dark silver patina, with a nice old ribbon with two clasps for Khartoum and The Atbara.
