Original era manufacture. The very clean polished steel blade measures 32.5 inches in length with etched panels on each side, on the obverse the profile of a muzzle loading cannon, and on the reverse Queen's crown with Victoria's cypher. The blade runs straight and true, displaying minimal age and wear. Steel three branch guard, with a fish skin grip bound with triple strand wire. Johnson LE Cassick & Co., 19 Clifford St. London retailers name on the reverse ricasso. No scabbard.
