Original era manufacture. 23.5 inch polished steel blade which widens slightly about three inches up from the guard. Crown I proof on the ricasso, the only visible marking on the entire weapon. Brass three branch guard, pommel and backstrap. Black painted, leather covered ridged grip. Sound black leather bodied scabbard with a brass throat and tip. Normal age and wear.
