Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 32 inches in length, double narrow fullers on each side, with a brass disc set into the obverse ricasso, Proved P, which one online source identifies as Pillin manufacture.No issues to the blade, it runs straight and true with no corrosion issues to the surface, or nicks in the cutting edges.Massive steel basket guard, with a fishskin wrapped grip without a wire binding. The blade tang is secured to the guard with a removable nut on the top of the bun shaped pommel. Buff leather lining to the guard with a red leather exterior.Bright polished steel scabbard with two suspension rings, both throat screws are in place, with the body of the scabbard displaying very minor denting from service use.
