Original era manufacture. A once very attractive lobster tail cavalry helmet made from a silver colored alloy with brass trim. There are two large holes in the reverse of the helmet as shown, perhaps someone more talented than I can attempt a repair. However, the helmet still has some valuable and useful parts for a donor to another helmet.
