Original era manufacture. A well made pouch which serves as decoration, but whose original intent was to carry cartridges I believe.Rigid body which is covered in a faded red velvet material, with a red Moroccan leather covering to the sides and interior. Silk brocade edging with thick wire embroidery decoration on the cover to include Queen Victoria's entwined cypher.The pouch is very sound, just showing its age from use, with wear on the edges and fading.All of the carrying rings are present, and the closure strap works properly.
