Original era manufacture. A beautifully embroidered Victorian era Royal Artillery officers dress pouch and cross belt set. Thick gold wire embroidery on the face of the pouch, with a edging of gold brocade tape; at center is a gilded brass profile of a Crimean era field gun.The reverse of the pouch is covered in dark blue wool, with mothing as shown, no damage to the front of the pouch. Gold brocade covered shoulder strap, with gilded brass adjusting buckles and trim. The reverse of the strap is covered in black Moroccan leather, with some scattered areas on the brocade where the stitching is coming loose. A beautiful piece of military finery exhibiting normal age and wear.
