Original era manufacture. Royal Engineer officer Fore & Aft hat with it's original transport tin. Possible Crimea period hat, the body is not crushed or broken, the red silk lining has some insect damage, but overall sound. Missing the rear gold decorative tassle. The storage case is a little battered but still protects the hat properly
