Original era manufacture. A blue wool cloth covered helmet with a cork body, gilded alloy fittings throughout, including the large helmet plate with Queen's crown.Red silk lining, with a wide tan leather sweatband.The body is sound, not crushed or broken, no mothing to the wool covering. The linked chinstrap is intact with its backing material which is loose in spots.
