Original period manufacture. A well used example of the classic WWI era British service bayonet. The blade is bright, any finish that it once had is long gone, with wear to the markings in general. We have not made any attempt to clean this one up. The point remains sharp, and there are no nicks in the cutting edge.Dark wooden grips, which have been rubbed smooth from handling and wear. Clear R.A.F. markings on the pommel.Standard leather bodied scabbard with metal throat and chape displaying traces of a painted finish.
