Original era manufacture. 1914 Star with Old Contemptibles Clasp, named on the reverse 71639 TPTR (Trumpeter) H. Taylor RFA. Trumpeter Horace Herbert Taylor entered the service at age 14 in 1912, and was killed in action 25 February 1915, his grave is located in Nieuwkerke Churchyard, West Flanders, Belgium. He weighed 91 pounds, stood 4' 11" in height, and served as a groom, driver and trumpeter. The clasp is loose on one end.
