Original era manufacture. A lithographed tin box measuring roughly 5.75 x 3.75 x 1 inches. Opening the lid reveals a socket for the base of a candle, places for two candles on each side and a partition for matches. Patent date of 9-7-15 on the reverse. Possibly Australian manufacture as one of the soldiers pictured is wearing a "Digger" style hat.
