British WWI Era, Black Watch Doublet & Kilt

Original era manufacture.A red wool issue quality doublet, with black wool collar and cuffs. Silver general service buttons throughout, with silver Saint Andrew emblems on the collar. On the right side epaulette is a silver colored T5RH emblem for the 5th Territorial Battalion, Royal Highlanders. Nice patina toned silver wire Sergeantchevron and crossed axe emblem on the right sleeve. There is some scattered staining and minor mothing to the body of the doublet but overall it is quite sound, size about a 40regular. Black Watch military issue wol kilt with a blue cottonwaistband lining. The leather straps are mostly missing and there is some fraying of the wool at the bottom edge of the kilt. Thefeather bonnet is not included in the price, just shown for illustration purposes and to keep our manniquins head warm. At present, it is available in the headgear section of our site.
