Original era manufacture. Linked steel ring epaulettes which measure 6 inches in length. These were intended to be worn on the shoulders of some British cavalry regiment's tunics. There original intention was to ward off blows to the shoulders of the wearer by edged weapons. If memory serves, these were introduced by General Browne who saw the need for them after the Sepoy Rebellion in India. Light age and wear, clean.
