Original era manufacture. A silver medal with the following engraved on the rim, T-1737 Pte.F.G.WINTER. THE QUEEN'S.R. Accompanying the medal at the time of our purchase was a copy of an Ancestry.com printout with the same name and serial number (an addtional number as well, T/240256)giving a DOD of 29.9.17. I looked Private Winter up on the Commonwealth War Graves site and he is buried in Baghdad Iraq, North Gate War Cemetery. Complete with its proper ribbon.
