Original era manufacture. A poignant grouping of medals and documents pertaining to the service of one, Robert Low Sellars, 2nd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry. He was listed as wounded and missing, on 17 May 1915, during the battles of Aubers Ridge, and Festurbert. His name is commemorated on panel 37 & 38, La Touret Memorial in France. He has no known grave. The grouping includes a prewar cabinet card image of Sellars (Sellers) and three comrades, Casualty Form Letter E, dated July 9th 1915 sent to his widow, Buckingham Palace memorial letter, Record Office form letter dated 26 April 1922, Kitchener memorial form letter (name misspelled Robert Lowsellers), Death Penny Robert Low Sellars, Highland Infantry cap badge, a small pocket history of the HLI and British WWI miniature War Medal & Victory Medal.
