Original era manufacture. Standard pattern 1907 bayonet, 17 inch blade with traces of original finish, steel patina overall. The ricasson bears a crown proof with the makers name SANDERSON below, date of 11-16. Standard guard and pommel with quite sound wooden grips. The pommel displays the unique South African proof of an arrow a capital U. Black leather bodied scabbard with a circular scabbard stud and a brown leather riveted and sewn frog.
